Bovey Tracey Contemporary Craf Fair

This year we worked harder than ever to produce a really great looking stand, and the positive feedback from visitors made the effort well worth it. There was also a sale - Allen Malpass sold his beautiful elm mirror - as well as solid enquries for commissions. We had a larger space to fill this year and there was a fantastic selection of members work on display, from a walnut cabinet to an Indian laurel jewellery box. Over the three days makers were present to meet the visitors and chat about their work as well as promoting our website. The general discerning public are becoming more and more aware of bespoke furniture and it was great to meet some of them and spread the word about our profession.

Heavy rain on the Saturday wasn't enough to dampen our spirits and the sun returned on Sunday, along with the crowds, to seal another successful year at Bovey. See you there in 2010!
