I make furniture for you to sit on, eat off, work at, sleep in, decorate with and dream about. I like to work with the natural beauty of the wood, an intrinsic part of the design, making one piece at a time, practicing age old methods of cabinet making, crafting the wood, using a mix of traditional and modern techniques. The construction of the furniture relies mainly on hand cut joints and each piece is beautifully finished with environmentally friendly, durable finishes. I source mostly British hardwood, often local timber from forests and mills in Devon and neighbouring counties.
