Sam Walsh has been making furniture for over 10 years. He hold as BA(HONS) Degree in Furniture Design and Craftsmanship from studying in Cornwall and Nottingham. During his career he has worked on furniture for the Royal Lodge at Windsor Castle, for British embassies all over the world and for prestigious clients such as Harrods, Sheraton and Hilton hotel chains as well as teaching his craft here and in Africa.
Throughout this career he has built up a wealth of knowledge and craft skills from the many artisans he has worked along side. This experience together with his artistic talents in the design office results in stunning pieces of furniture loved by all of his clients.

Chiang was created for a client who wanted a reading chair reminiscing of the 1960 Pop era. She imagined the design would seem Spontaneous and free and for the chair to be a feature in her house. The name Chiang, is a character from the Richard Bach novel Jonathan Livingston’s Seagull from which the design was inspired. Polished steel base, upholstery and English Walnut detail.
